This app is a helper if you get SMS messages from your credit card company for purchases. It reads those, and displays the information in a more informative manner. And for the messages that don't come in with an amount (such as gas stations), you can set the amount yourself to help keep the estimated total accurate.

It started out because I wanted an extremely fast way to see what my credit card balance was at (without having to log into my banking and look at the available credit).

No need to worry about privacy, the only permission is to read SMS messages. Nothing else. So it can't send any information anywhere even if it wanted to.

Was developed using text alerts from TD Visa. If your SMS alerts are different (and therefore don't parse properly), email me and I will work with you to add support.
