Crossword Genie for iPad gives you 3 fast tools to help you finish crossword puzzles and find answers in other word-based games such as Scrabble®, Words with Friends etc.~ Word Search: Enter the letters you already have, using full stops to represent unknown letters. Click search to see the possible solutions. The search is very fast, almost instant in most cases. ~ Anagrams: Enter the letters of the anagram, using full stops as wildcards. Click search on the keyboard to see possible solutions. You can also enter a word length, for example to find all the 6-letter words that can be made from a set of 8 letters or a set of letters and wildcards.~ Intersecting Words: Enter 2 letter patterns to create a vertical and a horizontal word pattern. Use your finger to drag the words so that they overlap on the screen just as they do in the puzzle. Click the Solve button and Crossword Genie will search for all possible word combinations from its huge vocabulary. Crossword Genie has a vocabulary of over 160,000 English language words and phrases. It is extremely fast because this is built in to the app - no network access required! If you do happen to be connected to the Internet you can look up word definitions online - simply touch and hold a word in Anagram or Word Search to see a menu of options.
