Mr. Council is a teacher with a passion for soulful positive R&B music who performs at New Haven's Stella Blues and the esteemed Toad's Place. This soulful educator plans to lead by example with his smooth style and heartfelt lyrics. With his motto: "Discipline is the key to success, hard work and sacrifice will take care of the rest" permeates his actions. No stranger to hard work, he believes excuses are the tools of the incompetent, built on the foundation of nothing & those who specialize in them are nothing; therefore they are nothing but an excuse.

In 2007 Mr. Council presented the world with a gift titled "Awakening of A Sleepy Giant" and is currently working his 2nd album which is a project that featuring a live band. Not only broadening his creative vision Mr. Council is also shifting his focus in a new direction. Mr. Council's new goal is to use music as a tool to influence not only the minds but also the hearts of tomorrow, giving the youth of today harmonious lyrics of positivity and encouragement.
