The DNV Riskolator app computes the risk of failures for operators performing a single technical task.

The methodology was originally developed for a "technical environment" such as manual maintenance operations on board ships.

The DNV Riskolator takes three risk factors into account:

1) The complexity of the task

2) The work conditions

3) The skill or ability of the operator

The user of the app should dial the individual wheels such that the risk factors are best described. Based on the chosen risk levels the likelihood of task failure (%) is calculated and visualized.
