Dama is the well known name for the Turkish Checkers game.Dama uses the same board that chess or any other checkers game uses. It is not important that the board is two colored. There are 16 number of pieces (2 rows of pieces) for both sides. There are two types of pieces : regular pieces and Dama (king) pieces.Turkish checkers is fundamentally different from all other form of checkers.
