Darul Adviat (The House of Medicine) was established some fifty-five years ago in Sukkur – the third biggest and historical city of Sindh – by Late Mr. Khilafat Hussain who had the honour of being the president of Pakistan Chemist and Druggist Association. Initially he started his business with Allopathic medicines and established branches in Karachi, Dacca and Chittagong. In 1977 he switched over to Homoeopathic medicines, shifted from Sukkur to Karachi, and organized his business on modern lines.
In 1982, Dr. Willmar Schwabe GmbH &Co. KG, Germany appointed Darul Adviat as one of its authorized distributor in Pakistan. In 2009 Dr. Willmar Schwabe, Germany has appointed Darul Adviat as his Exclusive Partner for their entire range of Biochemic & Bioplasgen Medicines and most of their Homoeopathic combination products called Specialities.
