Q: Why do I not hear a pause between the dialing of the long distance access number, PIN (if any) and the destination number? Is it working?

A: Yes, it is working, just not as you would expect. On some phones, in particular the Samsung Focus, when you hit dial, it will dial the long distance access number, PIN (if any) and the destination number all as one number, with no delays. From a user experience perspective, it seems like the delay did not work. In reality, the dialing of the number which you hear is purely cosmetic and the phone is indeed applying the delay. This functionality is dependent on the phone you are using and Dialeriffic has no control over it.
