Digital Keys is a free app that gives hotel guests a new and exciting way to self check-in to their room. Bypass the reception desk and the check-in queues, and go straight to your room. Guests can use the app to unlock their room door with their smartphone and to also make their own room keycards (using NFC tokens and Near Field Communication (NFC) Android Beam on Android Phones 4.0 and above). At check-out time your digital key will no longer work. Hotels must have interfacing smartlocks installed.

-Uses NFC Android Beam in Android OS Version 4.0 and above to transmit your digital key to interfacing smartlocks on hotel rooms to unlock your door

- Also uses NFC Android Beam in Android OS Version 4.0 and above to transmit your digital key to NFC tokens (such as NFC keycards, NFC bracelets, NFC fobs, NFC stickers, NFC rings etc) so that you can also use the tokens as a key to open your room door. Great if you are worried about your phone running out of battery!

- Digital Key automatically expires at your check-out time.

- Can be used in any hotel that has interfacing smartlocks installed.
