This app has an adjustable frequency slider that can be in the range of 7500 kHz - 22500 kHz(beyond human hearing) so you can find what works best for your dog!

Important Note: Not all frequencies may work with your phone/tablet. Some devices may render artifacts at some high pitched frequencies due to the phone software/manufacturer and/or the device's build in speakers. A safe way to go is around 15000 kHz because most devices can render that and is high pitched enough for dogs. A Nexus 7 for example may start to choke beyond 16000 kHz, while a ZTE phone may go up to 18000 kHz. If you can't hear the signal it doesn't mean it doesn't work because signals above 16000 kHz are usually beyond human hearing. Check and see what works best for you.
