THIS WON'T EVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!

Each section of DogMinder (worming, vaccination, veterinary, etc) consists of two tabs.

The first tab displays the entire history for each dog as well as providing the ability to add, edit and delete records.

The second tab provides an "Overview" screen where the “next due” appointment or treatment for each dog is displayed. This makes it very easy to see at a glance who is due for what and in the case of treatments such as worming or vaccinations, what product was last used.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:

On samsung phones the photo for the dog image is rotated unless the photo has been taken in landscape mode. This is an issue with Samsung NOT the DogMinder app, however, we are trying to find a solution that will not affect other brands of phones.

DogMinder can’t possibly work perfectly on all possible phone models (more than 2000 target devices) with all Android stock or custom versions + all manufacturers’ custom layers (such as HTC Sense) + all carriers custom layers + all combinations of installed applications so please be understanding and collaborative rather than just angry if everything is not immediately perfect.

PERMISSIONS:

READ_CALENDAR: allows events to be added to the calendar

WRITE_CALENDAR: allows events to be added to the calendar

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: back up of database is stored on external memory

CAMERA: required for image/identification of horse

READ_PHONE_STATE: this is to capture the device id for licensing

CHECK_LICENSE: contacts the server to ensure the copy of HorseMinder is licensed.
