Fans of old school gaming will recognize the familiar Doomguy or "Marine" being used here to indicate remaining battery life. As the battery percentage gets lower the Doomguy's face changes just like in classic video game. Doom Battery Meter Widget is health bar for your phone.

Plugging your phone in to charge activates an animation.

The text color can be changed by tapping the widget.

I may add a feature that when you tap the widget it will open an app(that the user decides). Let me know in comments if you'd like that feature. I listen to requests!

This battery widget is light on resources and uses no battery. The app only updates when the system updates the battery percentage.
