Dragon's Tail will help you explore the greatest roads in and around the Great Smoky Mountains including roads like, US 129 "The Dragon's Tail - 318 turns in 11 miles", Cherohala Skyway, SR-180, and more. Dragon's Tail also includes beautiful mountain views from live webcams.

Also, included in the Dragon's Tail app is the ability to post and read comments about the roads. Read comments before you take our trip and then post about your experience when you get home or during your trip. (Internet/cellular Connection required)

The app divides the roads into sections to help you navigate wherever you want to go, when you want to go there. Roads are listed by State,complete list with details, or as pins on a map.

If you travel to this area frequently and know of a road in or around the area that we do not have listed, contact us by using the info button on the home screen and request it.

GPS access is needed for the app to provide you with driving directions from your "Current Location".

You can always change this setting by going to GPS Settings menu from the app home screen.
