The DrinkSwap simple works by signing up venues (bars, restaurants, nightclubs etc). Each venue will have their customized menu setup in the app. The App user will be able to “check in” at the venue and order drinks and food from their mobile phone.

DrinkSwap have in-app purchase-

The purchase take place at the app. checkout page. The user chooses items to purchase. Once they are ready they click on the shopping cart to complete the purchase. The app is integrated with a payment processor to manage credit card payments in a PCI DSS compliant environment.

Credits within the DrinkSwap-

Credits are good only for the designated venue. The transaction will charged the users credit card and settle directly to the venues only merchant account. The amount of money charged will equal to the amount of credits issued in a 1:1 ratio. A 5% convenience fee is charged on each order. This amount is charged to the users’ card separately to drinkSwap’s merchant account.

Send "credits" to another user-

No, there is no exchanged of money. The transfer is a closed loop app account to app account transfer of a credit of a specific venue. Credits cannot be transferred between venues. Credits are only able to be transferred between registered users.
