EQuIS Data Gathering Engine (EDGE) is a comprehensive collection of integrated environmental field tools ensuring accurate and complete data collection, using modern software and mobile computing technologies. To download EDGE, please contact the EarthSoft Help Desk at support@earthsoft.com.

EDGE Lite is a lightweight option to enter field data for EDGE and requires an EDGE license. Users can configure forms and Reference Values in EDGE to use in EDGE Lite. Field Electronic Data Deliverables (Field EDDs) can be transferred to and from EDGE Lite through direct connection or through the cloud using Dropbox (www.dropbox.com). EDGE Lite allows for real-time data collection using Dropbox.

EDGE Lite supports real-time error checking with field EDP, capturing GPS coordinates, and adding photographs. EDGE Lite can:

• Build and configure forms and Reference Values in EDGE

• Copy or Synchronize Field EDDs to EDGE Lite

• Use GPS to update location data

• Smarter data collection forms with error checking

• Capture images from camera or gallery

• Support Live data collection through Dropbox

• Synchronize data from multiple Android devices with EDGE
