CAPTURING A SCAN

Users are encouraged to PRESS their EAR to the CENTER of the phone when they capture a scan (to create a profile or to authenticate). ERGO™ relies on the touch screen impression and additional sensors, including the accelerometer, to measure the phone's tilt at the precise moment the ear taps the phone. Best advice for new users is to BE CONSISTENT.

IN-APP BILLING

You asked, we listened. We've utilized Google’s in-app billing to allow users to download and evaluate ERGO™ before making a purchase decision.

We have also added an extra layer of security on the app itself, preventing someone from changing your profile without authenticating into the application first. We also added a feature that will monitor the quality of your scans and prompt you to recreate your profile if your authentication scans begin to exceed the quality of your profile.

PERMISSIONS

Read phone status and identity: Since ERGO™ is a lock screen alternative we need the ability to monitor the current lock state of your device.

Disable your screen lock: ERGO™ utilizes the standard Android locking mechanism to secure your device and needs a way to dismiss it when you successfully authenticate.

Run at startup: Allows ERGO™ to run when you boot your device
