Child Social Behaviour Questionnaire: This parent- or educator-report questionnaire consists of 33 items pertaining to children’s everyday behaviours related to children’s social and emotional development and self-regulation (e.g., ‘persists with difficult tasks’ and ‘waits their turn in activities’). For each item the respondent selects one of five options to indicate whether the statement is ‘Not true’ to ‘Very true’ about the child. This takes approximately 5 minutes to complete per child. The CSBQ produces measures of self-regulation (i.e., behavioural, cognitive and emotional), sociability, externalising, internalising and prosocial behaviour.The 'Early Years Self-Regulation and Language Development Toolbox' (EYT, for short) is comprised of brief, engaging game-like assessments of young children’s self-regulation, executive functioning and vocabulary. These games are based on well-established and widely used measures for young children (e.g., go/no-go, dimensional change card sort), yet have been adapted and optimised on the basis of 20+ years of research experience with this age group.
