The Metro Vancouver Veg Directory is the most up to date listing of vegan and vegetarian restaurants, veg-friendly retailers and more. We distribute a printed version to hundreds of businesses, and offer a more indepth online version with full listings. EARTHSAVE CANADA is a Vancouver-based registered charity, helping people choose foods that benefit the environment, our health, and the lives of animals. Setting a table that people from all cultures and beliefs can enjoy, where everyone is welcome, from vegans to the veg-curious. Passionate about promoting awareness of the environmental, ethical and health consequences of our food choices, we advocate the move towards a plant-based diet for environmental sustainability, better health, and compassion toward non-human animals. Earthsave Canada is a non-profit, educational organization founded in March of 1990, and is run by a very active volunteer board, one paid employee and some pretty amazing volunteers. The Metro Vancouver Veg Directory currently includes most of the Lower Mainland BC and Vancouver Island but will soon cover all of BC, and one day Canada.
