This app downloads the United States Geological Survey (USGS) data on earthquake activities in North and Central America, including all US states. Every time the app is launched the most recent earthquakes 2.5 and above on the Richter scale are added in near real time to the list of earthquakes that occurred in the last 7 days.The earthquakes list includes location, magnitude, coordinated universal time ( UTC), latitude and longitude coordinates data.A map is generated for each earthquake listed in a table view by tapping on a table view row. The map will then be scaled to the general earthquake region, pinpointing the epicenter of the quake with a drop pin symbol. The current location of the iPhone is also shown with a blue circle on the map.A second view allows for input of latitude and longitude coordinates to visualize associated locations.
