Easy Class Cam is the ultimate camera app for classes with shared iPads/iPods - and isn’t that basically all of us? A simple profile setup screen lifted directly from the popular Easy Blogger Jr allows teachers to create student profiles which link to albums created automatically in the device's camera roll. The custom designed camera includes a helpful preview screen preventing the “click click click” habit, and a countdown option making the camera much easier to hold steady. With the ability to turn on or off all young user features, this app is must have for classes of all ages with shared devices. Since we've been testing it we have realized that it is also useful for separating events. For example, you can create a profile called '2013 Sports Day', and take photos using the app which will all be saved to a '2013 Sports Day' album. No need to go through the camera roll and separate the photos later. Even better, after the event you can delete the profile from the App but the album stays in the camera roll.
