I’ve developed a recipe app that has 30 different kinds of recipes divided into 5 different categories, such as, the risotto recipes, the chicken recipes, the beef recipes, the seafood recipes and the desserts recipes. You can get in to the list of recipes that are available for the different categories, choose one of them and then see the ingredients needed to make the meal, as well, as the preparation method. As you can see, you can scroll down these 2 windows and easily learn how to cook these dishes.

You can go back in the application and if you are lack of imagination you can easily ask the app to choose a dish for you. As you can see this app can choose randomly and the dish is never the same.

You can also search a recipe by a keyword in her name. For instance, you can type chicken, then press the search button and then choose a chicken recipe as you wish.

Other functionality developed in this app was the capability of add more recipes to the default list of recipes. You just have to type the name, the ingredients and the preparation method and then the app saves it into an xml file.

You can also, remove a recipe from the list. As you can see, this page show all the recipes that are in the list. You just have to select one, it will be highlighted and then press the remove button. In this case, we are just going to remove the recipe that we’ve recently added to the list.

You can also lesson to some cool music as you are preparing your meal. You just have to press the play button and browse for the location in your phone where you have some good music and then choose it. The stop button, enables you to pause and also turn the music on again.

Last but not least, you can send me an e-mail, where you can send some improvement suggestions for this app.

In the future, I would like to add more recipes to the app, as well, as an English version. I also would like to develop the text to speech functionality so the user can lesson to the ingredients and to the preparation method of the dishes.
