Equals ? is a straightforward and smart app that generates mathematical operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, halving, squaring, cubing, and square root. All equations result in an integer number. The level of difficulty depends on the selected level. The equations are presented to the user both verbally (spoken) and visually (written). This way, by using Equals ?, both memory and mental agility are trained. Equals ? operates based on rounds of 5 equations each. After each equation is spoken, the user enters the result and the app grades whether it is correct or incorrect. Once the equation is graded, it is possible to compare the entire equation and the result obtained. The app can repeat equations if the user wishes, also it is possible to restart each round from the beginning. Equals ? has two controls: difficulty level and time interval. The difficultly level ranges from 1 to 6, with 1 being the easiest and 6 being the hardest. The difficultly level directly affects how hard the multiplication, the adding, and the number of operations in each problem.
