Europe Vortex, High and Low Pressure System names 2014

For 10 years everybody can name highs and lows! The first time somebody did so was the low pressure system "Yvonne" which was baptized at November 21st, 2002. At November 25th, 2002 high pressure system "Werner" followed!

Over 1800 participants from 15 European countries plus Brazil, Japan and the United States have already been adopted as clients.

We thank everyone who so far took part at "adopt-a-vortex"! Because of the adoptions we were able to continue the weather observation by students (which celebrated 10th anniversary in March 2012) and the climate row at the Institute of Meteorology of the Free University of Berlin.
