Compose and send text messages using emoji which are exclusive to Windows Phone and Messenger. People with inferior OS's like Android or iPhwn will only see the characters.
Yes, there are other apps that do this, nothing new under the sun... This is a basic student project, covering the fundamentals of Silverlight development for Windows Phone. So please don't leave a bunch of reviews complaining its not unique or it is missing some specific functionality.
