FIRST Things First is a student-made app created by the head programmer of Team 7120 Bionica, Sarah Denenberg. Bionica is a high school robotics team from Hewlett, New York. The app is designed to provide informative utilities for community members, as well as other teams involved with the FIRST Tech Challenge. Component one is a virtual scouting sheet that FTC teams can use during the competitions. Normally, teams waste tons of paper with stat sheets that describe what robots can do in the autonomous, driver controlled, and end game periods of the competition. With FIRST Things First, teams can keep a digital track record of every team and save the environment. Component two includes interactive graphics that provide information about Team Bionica, girls' STEAM organizations, the FTC, 3D printing, Bionica's robot, and so much more. The goal of the app is to promote FIRST for outsiders and insiders. We want this to be helpful to everyone.
