Echoing the graphics and ethos of the 8-bit era we've bitcrushed every piece of zx spectrum goodness we can into a wonderful screensaver for your android device. No retro gamer or ZX Spectrum afficionado should be without it !

Funkyspectrum is George Bum, a well respected reviewer and commentator on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum and retro gaming scene (you can catch him on Youtube under the user name Funkyspectrum).

We hope this ridiculous wallpaper brings some further happiness to FUNKYSPECTRUM fans and some small solace in dark times when George has not uploaded a spectrum review in a while.

This wallpaper is customizable and will be regularly updated, we intend to fully flesh out the experience and add more options. Feel free to make a feature request if you are a regular user of the app or just send us your comments.

To set a live wallpaper:

1. Long press on your current wallpaper

2. Select the prompt for "live wallpaper"

3. Select your desired wallpaper (Funkyspectrum Wallpaper 48k)

4. On the next screen, select "Set wallpaper"

To edit the wallpaper properties:

1. Long press on your current wallpaper

2. Select the prompt "Live wallpaper"

3. Select the wallpaper you wish to edit (Funkyspectrum Wallpaper 48k)

4. On the next screen, select "Settings..."

5. Change what settings you wish then simply back out to your main frontpage.
