Fact Pups is a fun and engaging way to get students to build computational fluency by helping them recognize the relationships that exist among certain combinations of number sentences. This game will help them develop speed and accuracy that are the foundation of computational fluency. Computational fluency, as defined by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), is the ability to be fluent in mental math such as instant recall of answers to multiplication facts. The NCTM even lists computational fluency as “an essential goal” for math instruction and student success.
