Advancements in the field of electronics and technology has made smart phones and other gadgets very much affordable. In order to safeguard women and protect them against atrocities, FikrFREE team has used simple yet innovative techniques to develop this product.

FikrFREE, an Android App that has been specifically developed to arm Women with a tool to call for help. The App is linked to a cloud server so that it tracks a users' location and syncs it to the cloud server at frequent interval. so that your loved ones can check your location when you call for help.

Following are some of the key features of the App:

1. Location Tracking

The App can be configured to track your location 24x7 or at frequent intervals or when you panic. This data is not only stored on your phone, but is also sent to a cloud server for your guards to keep track of you when in distress.

2. Panic on Shake

You can shake the phone rigorously to trigger a panic. This alert your guards and call for help.

3. Panic on Power button presses.

You can press the power button of your phone multiple times to trigger a panic.

4. Cloud Sync

This feature differentiates FikrFREE from all other Apps. Using this feature, your location history is synced to our cloud server. Your guards when alerted can track you online and use this information to search you. If you are on a moving vehicle, the guards can track your movements online when you panic.

How it works?

1. Add a few trusted people from your contacts as FikrFREE Guards. These people will receive an SMS alert and/or a phone call from you when in distress.

2. Under Settings, you can choose between several options to switch ON GPS 24x7/intermittent/only during a panic situation. Here, you can also toggle options to detect power button panic, shake panic, etc. You may also choose to sync you location data to the cloud server at a regular interval.

3. When in distress, simply trigger a Panic using one of the trigger mechanisms. In Panic mode, FikrFREE will send SMS and/or call all your guards for help. The SMS contains a link that points to your current location.
