You're competing in real time with players all around the world - all striving to outdo you and your cellar.

You can buy by the bottle or by the case. When purchased, wines need to be stored - but you need to pick your location carefully.

Build up a cellar by buying into and selling out of vintages (and hope you do not suffer theft or other disaster!)

Go on - get stocking your wine cellar and start learning the ways of a sommelier.

You can hold up to £10m of any one wine at any one time.

To trade out of their position, you can either dump the wine back onto the market or if you have a client, and have held the wine for over 6 hours, you can attempt to get a better deal. It's important to note that the client will then offload the wine within 24 hours - if they lose money then their faith in you will be reduced, which negatively affects your trading reputation.

Too many losses and you could lose all your cash. Once bankrupt, you re-enter the game at the beginning.
