Fisherman friend provides any fisher person with the means to consolidate information about fishing areas. The program has access to the phones GPS and uses latitude and longitude data as a marker for the information stored, this feature may be switch off. That data includes notes, type of game, and a short description of the site with photos (up to 99 per location). This data can be reviewed, updated or even deleted. Bing map access is provided (when the feature is turned on) in the Add, Update and Review sections of the program, giving the fisher person a visual overview of the area. An analysis feature gives the individual the means to view by species the total count at a location.
