FlickCalc™ Calculator app is a scientific calculator designed for Smartwatches that provides more functionality than others by taking advantage of the unique FlickKey input method. FlickCalc has all the common scientific math functions you expect -> powers, exponents, trig, logs, percentage, factorial, conversions, and more.

FlickCalc uses the unique FlickKey input method that allows accurate input on very small screens. It has just six flickable keys to enable fast and accurate selection of numbers and functions. Just press a key and flick/slide in the direction of an outside number, or function, to select. Just tap the key to select the middle number or function.

While FlickCalc is the best calculator for a smart watch, it also works well on smartphones. Once learned, the unique input method is more touch type-able than a traditional keypad. It will take awhile for 'flicking' to enter numbers and functions to sink into your head. But when it does, it is more reliable - especially on small screens. FlickKey also has a nice two line calculation input view, and it comes with common conversions.

FlickCalc and FlickKey are ready to go on the coming generation of true smartwatches. Unfortunately, many current smartwatches do not yet support Google Play. So you will have to side load it. Request help from support email address if you would like to try this. FlickCalc should work well on any standard Android smartwatch with a touchscreen. Here is a partial list of compatibility:

Samsung Galaxy Gear: Not compatible for the Gear line of smartwatches, as they are no longer Android devices. The exception is the Gear Live, which is an Android Wear device. See comment below.

Omate True Smartwatch: Works.

Burg: Should work fine.But not yet tested.

Sony Smartwatch: Not supported as there is not enough capability in their original smart watch, or Smartwatch2, to support the touch motions of this app.

Android Wear smartwatches (Moto 360, LG G Watch R, Asus, Sony's Smartwatch 3, etc.): Please search for the specific FlickCalc Wear Scientific Calculator version. Further, this specific version of FlickCalc supports round screens.

FlickCalc should run on any smartwatch or phone that runs the standard AndroidOS.
