A compass for Windows Phone: FonCompass provides a striking visual experience, ability to manually or automatically log direction, and Microsoft OneDrive capabilities.
While using the phone's magnetometer to resolve direction, the visual experience is enhanced by user-configurable dials and colors utilizing the beautiful rendering capabilities of Windows Phones. Additionally the compass offers magnetic and true heading modes, true or needle dial readouts, hold function and crosshair.
FonCompass uses the magnetometer located in many WIndows phones to resolve direction as a magnetic compass. Users can save bearing information manually by pressing the dial, or automatically within a time frame of 1 second to 1 minute. Saved directional data can be examined on the phone and/or uploaded to OneDrive as a CSV compatible text file.
