This app takes the Fort Lee Environmental Management Division's (EMD) handbook and provides easy access to Environmental Management System (EMS) policies, procedures, and related environmental documentation that apply to the operations of the installation. This app is intended to:

Assist in supporting and communicating EMS initiatives and the Environmental Policy Statement throughout the organization

Promote sustainability principles through the EMS

Demonstrate implementation of organizational EMS systems

Satisfy the requirements of the ISO 14001 environmental management standard and Army EMS requirements

The Environmental Management Division focuses on four major areas: compliance, restoration, prevention, and conservation. The EMD will provide the means necessary for the command to meet its mission while protecting the environment via an integrated environmental and training platform with neither being mutually exclusive. Protection of the environment will help Fort Lee remain a major Army asset with the flexibility to meet further mission needs.
