Fostering Adventures | Maethu Anturiaethau

This bilingual app features a wide range of practical ideas and background information to keep children entertained, engaged and supported.

It was funded by the Big Lottery Strengthening Families project at The Fostering Network Wales. This project worked with carers from across Wales who are supporting families whose children are at risk of being taken into long-term foster care.

Content:

140 low and no cost venues across Wales for families to visit

Activities to keep children occupied on days out in parks, in the woods and at the beach

A picnic guide including recipe ideas, hints and tips for planning a picnic and games to play enroute to a picnic

Six venue specific, interactive spy missions and treasure trails

Suggestions for activity based days out

Information and practical ideas to help carers welcoming children and young people into their homes for the first time.

Ariannwyd yr ap gan brosiect Cryfhau Teuluoedd Rhwydwaith Maethu Cymru gyda chyllid gan y Gronfa Loteri Fawr. Gweithiodd y prosiect gyda gofalwyr o bob cwr o Gymru sy’n cefnogi teuluoedd sydd mewn perygl o chwalu.
