The fox tries to move past the hounds. The hounds try to corner the fox. A simple, classic game traditionally played with checkers (draughts) on a checkerboard, it provides an amusing challenge for both children and adults.

Released last December, the game includes a holiday (Christmas) theme where a magic hat tries to escape persistent snowmen.

This version was ported from an old game originally created for a study on implicit learning at Carnegie Mellon University.

The game is sometimes called "Devil and Tailors," "Wolf and Sheep," or "Hounds and Hare."
