A guide to Friday After 5 in Owensboro, Ky. Friday After 5 is a weekly summer-long series of free outdoor concerts held on the newly renovated, stunningly beautiful riverfront in Owensboro, Kentucky. The festival began in 1996 with four concerts and has grown to become a 16-week, summer-long signature event for the entire tri-state area hosting more than 50,000 visitors each season.
