FromDevice is a system composed by a website and a mobile app. It uses QR Code scanning and Internet connection to send pages between the mobile device where the app is installed and any other device with internet connection.
It has two main features:
- Sending a web page from a mobile device to any other browser enabled device
(From your mobile browser, share the website. Select FromDevice app. Open "fromdevice.com" in your PC and scan the QR Code. That simple! The page will open in your PC)
- Retrieving a web page from any browser enabled device to a mobile device
(Open "fromdevice.com" website and paste a copied URL. Scan the QR Code and the URL will be opened in your mobile device).
In both cases, the mobile device must have a FromDevice enabled app, but no additional requirement exists for the other device. It doesn't require any special plug-in, no special software, not any kind of registration! It can be another mobile phone, a tablet, a PC or even a smart TV!
The mobile device also needs to feature a camera (which mobile device doesn't this days???).
