Fuel Estimator lets you to compare the fuel usage and cost between two different vehicles and then calculates the difference.

For example, you are considering replacing your vehicle which averages 25MPG with a vehicle that averages 35MPG. With this app you can quickly see the monthly gallons used and difference, the monthly cost and difference, and the yearly cost and difference. (Let me give you a hint, the monthly and yearly savings are not as much as you might think.)

Another example is you are trying to decide between a gasoline engine vehicle which gets 30MPG verses a diesel engine vehicle which gets 36MPG. Diesel fuel is normally more expensive than gasoline so the most economical vehicle to drive is not immediately obvious.

Fuel Estimator works with both MPG and L/Km. There is a menu option which lets you select english or metric units.

How To Use

1) Select English or Metric units

2) Enter the miles or Km you normally drive per month

3) For each vehicle enter the fuel cost and MPG or L/100Km

4) Press the Calculate button

The fuel usage, monthly and yearly cost with differences will be displayed in the results section and the most economical vehicle will be highlighted in green. Using this app is a great way to help make informed decisions.
