Let your mobile device inform friends and family of your location using canned text messages that are sent as you reach pre-determined GPS coordinates. Great for letting the wife know you're picking up the baby from day care, or you're only minutes from home. Your fellow car pool members will appreciate the message that you're approaching their pickup location. Young children can let their parents know they've made it home safely from school.

Start by adding a new trip, picking your recipients, and adding one or more way-points with text messages to transmit. To move an existing way-point, long press it on the map and move it. To modify, select a waypoint and choose the Edit or Remove icons in the action bar.
