Generic Scaner tool for QR and barcodes implementations in websites.

This app uses the zxing library for scanning qr-codes and barcodes, for communication whit a website.

Use

1. Visit a site that uses the GScanTool-protocol

2. Scan the QR code in the webbrowser to "login"

3. Scan other bar-codes or QR-codes that the website asks you for.

For website developers:

Exemple of implementation areas:

1. local store using webshop, let the phone be a barcode scanner, that adds scanned product to the webshop-cart.

2. ticket validation, add a qr code on all sold tickets, and use this app to check-in and validate that its a valid ticket, and that its only being used once.

3. shopping planer/history, scan the products you buy, and use that shopping history to calculate when you going to run out of milk next time.

4. Media library, let the users add the movies/cds/books they have to a library, by scanning the barcode.

Protocol

1. The app scans a QR encoded URL

2. The app download the content at that URL

3. The app json decode the answer and look for parameters:

3.1. name , the title of the project

3.2. url , where to send next

3.3. type , prefered data format: get, post, json, plain. default: undefined

3.4. text textmessage to show the user

4. The app scans for any QR- or bar-code

5. The app sends the QR to the previous given URL

6. If the response is JSON and have a parameter text, it is displayed.

7. The app scans for next QR- or bar-code
