Galactic Disintegration is a 2D space shooter that takes place in the year 3012. Human-kind has been able to explore as far as Pluto for over 700 years now. Many countries have multiple spacecraft on foreign planets and some have even began inhabiting these planets in domes that produce a world that humans can live in. There is, of course, countries fighting over who owns which planet, which moon, which of them have control over the sun, etc... But the big problem is an unknown group of people with headquarters in a place unknown to everyone except their leaders that have declared war over everyone.

The story begins with an elite fighter pilot who is on a mission to find the headquarters of this group and dismantle it. Under a united world military, you receive your orders and carry them out to the best of your ability.
