This app is specifically for use by employees and staff of Emory Healthcare, Emory University, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and Grady Memorial Hospital. A valid username and password are required in order to use this application. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APPLICATION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID USERNAME AND PASSWORD FOR THE EMORY SIMON PAGING SYSTEM.Garfunkel allows the user to:- Send messages to Emory Simonweb Alphanumeric Pagers- Search the entire online directory- Create a favorites list for frequently used PIC numbers- Call pagers signed out to phone numbers directly- Access and Review a log of sent pages- Rapid page screen for fast entry of PIC number and message details- Spell check and autocorrect work seamlessly on your pages as you typeA recent study of pages sent to surgical residents found that over one third (34.44%) of pages were sent without any useful information regarding the purpose or urgency of the call (Espino S., et. al.
