I'm a thirty-year old mother of four, writer of much, living in Los Angeles with my husband, Hal, two dogs and a brand new minivan I've already severely dented. I've been blogging since 2003, on Girl's Gone Child since 2005 when I gave birth to my first child, Archer. I was twenty-three at the time and newly married to a man I barely knew. After three rocky years of marriage, my husband Hal and I fell in love and agreed to stay married for as long as we were willing and able to put up with one another. (We've been married seven years which is insane.) Even more insane, we had our second child (Fable) in October, 2008 and in January of last year, I got pregnant with our third and fourth children, twin girls (Boheme and Reverie) born September 13th.
