Glance allows you to wake your phone by waving your hand over it or taking the phone out of your pocket.

You can also enable the Glance screen, which will display a digital clock for 5 seconds when you wave your hand over your phone (waking the phone by pressing the power button will not show the glance screen).

Or, you can keep the Glance screen permanently on until you press the home or back button.

The Glance screen can also show notifications (Android 4.3+ only). To enable this, open Glance and click on the "Activate" button for notifications. This will display the Notification Access screen, where you can manually allow notification access to glance.

Not all devices might fully support Glance.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would email me (dan.ursu@outlook.com) telling me your phone model and if Glance works on it or not, even if it does work, so I can build a list of compatible devices.

== I can't uninstall!

- You must open the app and click the "Toggle" button once (only once) to revoke Glance's device administrator permissions. There was a warning when enabling this feature. http://i.imgur.com/EtMODZJ.png

== Waving my hand over my phone/taking it out of my pocket doesn't work!

- Try waving slowly

- You may need to wave very close to the proximity sensor (should be located just above the screen) on some devices

- It simply might not be compatible with your device

== Notifications on the Glance screen don't work!

- Access to notifications needs to be enabled (open glance, click on the "Activate" button for notifications and allow access to Glance)

- This only works on Android 4.3 and above

- Only dismissible notifications are displayed

== Once the Glance screen closes, the lock screen is displayed!

- Enter the app, and click on the "Toggle" button next to "Auto-Lock Screen". Then click on "Activate". (An app must be added as a device administrator to lock the phone).

== Immersive mode on the Glance screen doesn't work!

- This only works on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and above

- It's disabled if "Always On" is enabled, to avoid confusion

== Battery is drained more quickly!

- Glance uses the proximity sensor, which can consume a lot of battery power. Nothing that can be done about this.
