Go-Matic is your go-out-and-do-something app for Group Location, Group Messaging, Photo Sharing, and more!We are pleased to announce the completely revamped Go-Matic 1.2 with a new trip planning feature!Go-Matic™ helps groups of people connect, have fun, and share the memories of their experience. Create groups on-the-fly without sharing any personal info. You can also invite friends via text, email, or even Facebook (if you dare!), and you can always add more people along the way.Pick a destination and Go-Matic provides turn-by-turn directions tailored to each member's position. Going somewhere is as simple as picking a place or address from the search built right into the app. Now you can even pick multiple destinations and create a trip! With group geo-location you can see where everyone is - no more wondering when they'll arrive! Go-Matic helps people get together and stay together, with group geo-location, group messaging, and private group photo-sharing. You can even have fun editing your photos and instantly share the changes with the whole group!QUICK TIPS:Creating Groups:To create an ad-hoc group with people standing next to you, just have everyone press and hold the big red button on the Crew tab until everyone is connected. You can add other people to the group even if they're not near you by sending them an invitation via text, email, or a Facebook post. To invite people standing nearby that don't have Go-Matic installed yet, you can invite them with a QR code. They'll be guided through downloading and installing the app, and they'll be connected to your group already in progress. They'll even catch up on all the fun they've missed!You can belong to more than one group at a time. From the slide up controller at the bottom of the Crew tab, choose Switch or Rejoin Group from the left action button.Creating Trips:You can create a list of destinations to follow as part of a Trip. In the More tab, choose Trip and add destinations. The trip will be created in the order you choose destinations. You can keep adding destinations or clear the route from this screen. The first destination will set the route for everyone. When you are ready to move to the next stop, just tap it in the Destinations list. Everyone will get the route to the new spot.You can also add destinations from the Map Search view.Getting Help:In Settings, turn on Shake For Help for some quick tips on using all of the powerful functions built into Go-Matic!Go-Matic is built on Go Factory's Go Machine platform, a powerful, enterprise-grade, mobile back-end service.Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Go-Matic includes settings to help you balance location accuracy and updating vs. battery life. You can always leave any active groups and rejoin them later to save on battery!
