DESCRIPTION

The GoToAssist (Customer) app allows GoToAssist Remote Support technicians to provide full screen sharing, remote control, chat support, and SeeIT (live camera streaming from your device to your support technician) for Samsung and LG mobile devices running Android OS versions 4.0.x and newer.

HOW TO GET STARTED

1. Download and install the GoToAssist (Customer) app.

2. If you received a URL from a GoToAssist Remote Support technician, select the URL to automatically populate the app with the required 9-digit support key. If the app is not already installed, you will be prompted to install it first. Once installed, select the URL again to auto-populate the 9-digit support key, and then tap 'Join Session' to start the support session.

3. If you received a 9-digit support key from a GoToAssist Remote Support technician, start the app, enter the 9-digit support key, and then tap 'Join Session' to start the support session.

4. With your consent, the technician will have full remote control of the device and will be able to chat securely with you. Tap the exit button to end the session anytime.

• SeeIT (live camera streaming): Android devices running OS 4.0.x (Ice Cream Sandwich) and newer

• Secure chat: Android devices running OS 4.0.x and newer

Technician (Full screen sharing, remote control, and chat)

• Internet connection

• Windows® 7, Vista, 2003 server or XP

• Mac OS® X v10.5 (Leopard) or newer

• Internet Explorer® 7.0 or newer, Firefox® 3.5 or newer or Safari™ 3.0 or newer

Technician on mobile device (Full screen sharing in view-only mode and chat)

• Internet connection

• GoToAssist Remote Support installed on compatible Android or iOS device (iPhone or iPad)
