Golf Rules Daydream is a slideshow of golf rules that plays automatically while your phone is charging or docked (otherwise you can access the app via the Daydreams menu). The golf rules are a simplified version of the 2012 USGA Rules of Golf (published jointly by the USGA and R&A). Features of the app include:

* 144 rules in total under 28 sections.

* A slideshow with functionality for navigation through either main rules or sub-rules.

* The app will remember which rule you left off from last time and start there.

* Formatting of text to emphasize important points.

* Option to adjust slideshow display frequency.

* A separate screen displaying time, date and battery charge level.

* The app will remember if you were last using the slideshow screen or clock screen and set that as default.

* Three custom themes to choose from.

* Screen burn protection.

* No ads

Golf Rules Daydream is optimized to prevent screen burn (discoloration of areas on an electronic display caused by cumulative non-uniform usage of the pixels) so that nothing remains on the screen for long periods of time:

* The slideshow's top and bottom tool bars disappear after a certain time (they reappear with a tap on the screen).

* The slideshow will restart automatically after a predetermined time after being paused.

* On the clock screen, the background image is alternated and the clock and slideshow button move position periodically.

To access the app directly (i.e. when it is not charging or docked) on your phone go to Settings > Display > Daydreams.
