There are 4 distinct driving tours to follow within this app.

1) Volcanoes National Park. Commentary takes you from resort areas in Kona and o the Kohala Coast to Volcanoes National Park, plus a comprehensive tour inside the park. All different commentary for the drive back to Kona.

2) Island Circle Route. Being an island, you will want to drive all the way around. Our Full Circle Tour follows an anti-clockwise circle around the island including Volcanoes, Hilo, Hamakua Coast, Waipio Valley Wiamea and back to the Kona side.

3) Kohala Coast. Recommended half day drive following the spectacular northern coast of the island including the historic sugar towns of Hawi and Kapaau, the superp views from above the Pololu Valley and then drive over the Kohala Mountains to Waimea cowboy town and then return to the coast.

4) Kona Coast. Another half day tour to see Kona's best beaches, the islands best snorkeling and many fascinating cultural and historically significant sites including Kealakekua Bay where Captain Cook visited Hawaii and was killed. Place of Refuge is one Hawaii's best restored cultural sites. Plus many great views as we tour through the coffee plantation areas.

You will not incur any data roaming charges to use this tour, even if you are from outside the USA. The app does not work the same way as traditional Maps apps, the commentary and maps are not "beamed" into your phone.

Just download the app over a Wi-Fi connection from your network at home or use any free Wi-Fi network. Because the app is filled with audio commentary and maps, its larger than "normal" apps. Many phone/data networks will block the download because of size - so be sure to download over a Wi-Fi network.
