DESCRIPTIONThe Bohr model of the atom describes how the chemical properties of an element are related to the arrangement of its electrons in shells around a central nucleus. An understanding of this model is required knowledge in most High School Science courses.This application illustrates the Bohr model of the atom in an easy to understand interactive display that allows the user to explore how elements are arranged in the Periodic Table. You can use swipes to move through the elements in atomic number order or within the different chemical Groups of the Periodic Table.HOW IT WORKSSelect an element in the opening Table View to see its electron configuration.
