Hive.co.uk is a new and unique website where you can buy millions of books, eBooks (ePUB & PDF), DVDs, Blu-ray, music CDs and stationery, with all of the features you'd expect from any major online retailer including promotions, charts, recommendations, powerful search engine and secure shopping.

WHY IS HIVE UNIQUE?

If you enjoy the convenience of online shopping but would like to support your local independent shops too, then thanks to Hive you can now do both! Unlike the majority of online retailers, Hive works with local independent high street shops helping them have a bigger presence online, and has over 360 independent high street shops associated known as the 'Hive Network'. Every Hive Network shop has its own home page on the site and whenever a sale is made on Hive, one of these independent shops receives a percentage of the sale!

You can search for local Hive Network shops near to you by using the site's inbuilt 'store locator'. Once you've found the shop you like the look of, click through to their home page where you can find out what's going on in-store, their latest news, opening times, contact details, product recommendations and more. Select the shop as your 'favourite', and from that moment on they will always benefit financially from any purchase you make. (If you don't choose, we'll automatically give it to the shop that's geographically nearest to you). Your favourite shop will appear on the Hive home page when you log in, allowing you quick access to their page.

Also if you're not always at home for deliveries, for added convenience you can collect any orders made on Hive from your local Hive Network shop for FREE! And whilst you’re there you can remind yourself of what great places independent shops are (and why we're so keen for them to stay on our high streets!)
