This app was developed to support the 2012 Holiday Half Marathon put on by Run Racing, to give app users access to better and more convenient tools for registering for, donating to, and supporting the efforts of this well-known and important event. The app gives supporters and participants a simple way to enable them to register for the race, have access to “Virtual Booths,” as well as be linked to the virtual race bag which is released inside the app. Inside the app, users will have access to up-to-date news and information about the event, and will be able to connect with the organizations website, as well as its Twitter, Facebook and other social networking sites, all in one place. Users will also be able to take fun photos and put custom frames that are themed to the race, giving them the chance to share their holiday gear and post to their favorite social media sites!
